Abstract macro of portions of two Autumn leaves, with their curved edges side-by-side. The turning leaves have green, yellow and brown. Both leaf edges have a notch near the upper edge of the photo. The teardrop shaped gap between the leaves, wider near the top, is in the the center of the photo, spanning the height, with its axis about 45° from the vertical. What is visible in the gap is out of focus, as if there were a temporal rift between the leaves, hence the name.
